Teo Becher: Tuk Time

Tuk Time is simply the story of a small inuvialuit village on the North-Western coast of Canada, Tuktoyaktuk. Tuk Time stands for the moment when inhabitants start their daily life – around 12pm as unemployment is high – but also for that moment when the ice pack starts to melt along with the permafrost causing the village to sink into the Arctic ocean.

Teo Becher lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. He graduated in photography from “Le 75“ in Brussels and since has been exploring documentary photography. Teo founds a deep interest in the image itself and how it is interpretated, especially through landscape photography. He mostly uses a large format camera as well as a medium format. His work has been showcased in Brussels in 2013, 2014 & 2015 in collective shows.
